Nigerians Celebrates Another Good News On Covid 19 (See Photos)

Lagos state is obviously the epicenter of the COVID-19 is Nigeria, and as things are going, Lagos is also the epicenter of 'good news' concerning the virus.


Nigerians celebrate yet another good news concerning the deadly virus on Twitter as Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu made a positive announcement.
A pregnant COVID-19 patient has just successfully been delivered of a baby boy at the Gbagada isolation centre. The Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Gboyega Akosile, confirmed this in a statement on Saturday and Sanwo-olu wrote on his official Twitter page to announce the good news to Nigerians.

"I bring you great news from our isolation facilities," the Governor said.
"Today, a pregnant #COVID19 patient was delivered of a baby boy at the Gbagada Isolation Centre. Both mother and child are doing well.

Sanwo-Olu also announced the discharge of 67 more patients from four isolation centres after testing negative two consecutive times for the coronavirus.

"Also, 67 fully recovered #COVID19 patients; 22 females and 45 males including 3 foreign nationals - 2 Indians and a Chinese were discharged to join the society.
"The patients; 24 from the Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba, 22 from Onikan, 11 from Agidingbi, 2 from Lekki and 8 from Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) Isolation Centres were discharged after testing negative to #COVID19 in two consecutive readings."

The went on to give advice to Lagosians and Nigerians at large as the nation battle the deadly virus.
"As our front line health workers record successes in the battle against #COVID19, we urge citizens to adhere strictly to public health directives as this is the only way we can break the chain of transmission of the infection," he added.
