Nigeria Police opened fire on protesters in Abuja(Watch Video)

Men of the Nigeria police have reportedly opened fire and violently disrupting protest by an Islamic group, Shiites, in Abuja.

In a video shared by Sahara Reporters, a number of the protesting Shiites were heard shouting Allah Akbar, while fleeing the since of the protest.

In recent times, Nigerian security operatives have had a face-off with protesters across the country.

Recall that on October 20, Army opened fire on peaceful #EndSARS protesters at the Lekki Tollgate area of Lagos.

The protesting Shiites are demanding that Mr El-Zakzaky and his wife Zeenah be released.

The couple has been arrested since December 2015 when soldiers killed many Shiites in Kaduna State.
